The septic system maintenance code is Wisconsin Administrative Code SPS 383 requires 3 year maintenance on all private onsite wastewater treatment systems (POWTS). As such, each homeowner is required to have their septic system pumped and or inspected by a licensed service provider who will then file the county maintenance report.

 

We recommend pumping AND inspecting all components of your septic or mound system every 3 years minimum. More frequent pumping may be recommended based on….
